Hope Springs Safe House is serving more clients during the COVID-19 pandemic

Hopes Springs is needing help as it continues to provide service to women experiencing domestic violence.

Covid-19 pandemic.

The domestic violance shelter provides services for women in fountain, warren and benton counties.

14 people can be stay in the home at a time.

Due to covid-19 only 1 family is staying in each room.

This has forced the shelter to put people up in hotel rooms. that's why the historic mcdonald airbnb is hosting a virtual fundraiser for the safe house.

Executive director of hope springs safe house toni mcgowen says the money raised will help them with day to day costs.

"alls have increased greatly.

So it's going to help with that but it's also going to help us to be able to provide christmas for not only to the residents that are staying in our house but also those that are in the hotels and people in the community that we are servicing as well."

The fundraiser will take place live on facebook december 4th.
