Layer of haze lingers over national capital as air quality deteriorates

The national capital's Air Quality Index remains in poor condition on October 19.

Delhiites reeling under poor air quality as blanket of smog enveloped Delhi-NCR.

Continuous stubble burning in neighbouring states is main cause of deteriorating air quality.

As per CPCB, air quality at Anand Vihar is 252, which is in 'poor' category and AQI at Lodhi Road is 151, which falls in 'moderate' category.
