Potters in Varanasi began preparing earthen lamps in view of the upcoming festivals.

Coronavirus lockdown left a major impact on their business.

However, potters are now gearing up.

A potter said, "We are happy that a ban has been foisted on the Chinese products.

This is a positive step which will benefit the sales of our handmade products."
