Three unidentified terrorists killed in encounter in J&K's Shopian
Three unidentified terrorists were killed in an encounter in J&K's Shopian on October 7.
Security forces launched a search operation at Sugan village in Zainapora area of Shopian on October 6 after receiving information about presence of terrorists in the area.
The identity and group affiliation of the slain terrorists are yet to be ascertained.
“The search operation turned into an encounter after militants opened fire on the security forces,” a police official said.
The encounter lasted more than 12 hours.
