Pc Paul Reading and Sergeant Chris Excell - former colleagues of Sergeant MattRatana, who was killed in the line of duty - said the 54-year-old was well-loved by all and even criminals liked him.
Sgt Ratana was shot at CroydonCustody Centre in south London in the early hours of Friday September 25 as heprepared to search a handcuffed suspect.
