‘Netas, not farmers worried about agri bills’: Narendra Tomar’s jibe at oppn

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has lashed out at the Congress and other opposition parties over the agri bills.

Tomar said that Congress had mentioned these very points in their manifesto at the state level in Punjab and also the national manifesto.

Tomar said that Congress should first admit that they are making a U-turn on what they had said in the manifesto.

Tomar added that Congress is only trying to mislead the farmers and now it’s time for them to get justice and freedom.

He said that the Congress had so much opportunity to work for farmers but succumbed to pressure from some quarters.

Tomar slammed the opposition for the unruly scenes in the Rajya Sabha and added that there was no reason to send the bills to the select committee.

‘Farmers are now going to get the freedom to sell their produce anywhere they want, they will be free.

Farmers are not going to have any problem, only politicians will,’ Tomar said.
