Safety first, that's what we've been hearing from schools across the state when it comes to the pandemic and now Franklin County Public Schools are practicing what they preach but it's now impacting their sports season.

Due to confirmed COVID-19 cases and a recommendation from the Franklin County Health Department, football and girls and boys soccer at the high school are suspended for 14 days.

Everyone involved.

And again, the franklin county high school football and girls and boys soccer teams will be temporarily suspended for 14 days.

We will closely monitor this situation moving forward.

Reporting in studio, alex king, abc 36 news.

A coronavirus testing site in lexington has been hit with graffiti.

It happened at the walgreens on executive drive.

The health department is concerned this could deter people from getting tested.

Phrases like "plandemic" and "false-positives" are spray-painted on the side of the building.

We wondered if the location was hit at random or targeted...so we asked kevin hall with the health department.

"i can't speak for what's in the hearts and minds of everyone out there, but we hope this doesn't keep anyone who wants to get tested from getting tested.

The information that has been on the side of the building through the vandalism is not acurate.

We know of no issues at this testing site."
