Police lexington an elementary school assignment question in fayette county is creating some controversy between police and the department of education.

The kentucky peace officers' association says the question on a fifth- grade assignment "targets police".

It asks... "what is the relationship between jacob blake and breonna taylor?".

The first answer right below the question says: "both were victims of police violence, sparking protests against racial injustice".

The peace officers say this and other school assignments they've seen are "intentionally and negatively influencing young minds and promoting a political agenda."
