Think of it like horse racing finally having a league office like all the other major sports.

The big announcement coming today at keeneland.

Senate majority leader mitch mcconnell got involved after picking up the newspaper one day.

"when i saw in the washington post of all places an editorial saying thoroughbred horse racing should be abolished, abolished, i gasped, and when i got past the initial shock of it, i thought it might be a good time to talk to all the various players and see one more time if it were possible for all of us to get together."
