GoI announces guidelines for Unlock 4

The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued new guidelines on August 29 for opening up more activities in the areas outside the containment zones amid rising cases of coronavirus.

The unlock 4 will come into effect from September 01.

Social/academic/sports/entertainment/cultural/religious/ political functions and other congregations will be permitted with ceiling of 100 persons, from Sept 21.

However, limited gathering will have to follow COVID-19 SOPs.

There shall be no restriction on inter-State and intra-State movement of persons and goods.

No separate permission/ approval/ e-permit will be required for such movements.

Students of classes 9 to 12 may be permitted to visit their schools, in areas outside containment zones.

Lockdown shall continue to be implemented strictly in the containment zones till September 30.
