8 terrorists neutralized in two operations in JandK: Indian Army

JandK General Operation Commanding (GOC), Victor Force, Major General A Sengupta on August 28 informed that 8 terrorists were neutralized and one was forced to surrender during two operations of over 18 hours.

"Under two operations over 18 hours commencing from yesterday afternoon, based on very precise intelligence and hard work of JK Police and RR battalions, we were able to neutralise 8 terrorists, including taking one surrender," said Major General Sengupta.

He further added, "7 of the 8 terrorists who have been neutralised were recruited in 2020, and these misguided youth were recruited with the false promises by Pakistani terrorists, Pakistani handlers and people in society with anti-national sentiments."
