Russian FSB agents detain man accused of selling secrets to Ukraine

Russian FSB agents burst out of a vehicle and arrest a Russian soldier and missile expert accused of selling secret information to Ukraine’s military.The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) in the city of Barnaul, in the southern region of the country of Altai Krai, said they had detained the serviceman of the Strategic Missile Forces after he was suspected of having collected and transferred information constituting state secrets to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.The suspect, identified as senior lieutenant Sergei Sidorchuk, 31, is reportedly married with a young daughter, and has Ukrainian relatives, which Russian media speculated were his motivation for passing on confidential information.He studied at the Strategic Missile Forces Military Academy in Serpukhov, in the Moscow Region, and graduated in 2012.
