Indian Air Force's M-17 helicopter rescued seven people in J&K’s Kathua.

People were trapped between two streams of Ujh river.

The stranded people were rescued after 34 hours.

An SDRF team attempted to rescue them but failed.

Later, the IAF helicopter was called in.

Heavy downpor pounded parts of Jammu & Kashmir.

Heavy rain led to flood-like situations.

Several rivers were overflowing due to incessant rain.

IMD predicted intense rainfall in central, north India over next 4 days.

Earlier in the day, around 15 people were rescued in Kathua.

The stranded people were stuck in flash floods.
