Dewas building collapse: NDRF rescues 9 people, at least 2 confirmed dead

At least 2 people have been confirmed dead after a building collapsed in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday.

NDRF managed to rescue around 9 people from the debris and they were rushed to the hospital immediately.

NDRF posted a video of a teenager being rescued from the rubble and being met with cheers from the locals who had gathered at the spot.

The 2 storey private building, which had a temporary shade on the third floor, collapsed on Tuesday afternoon.

Apart from the NDRF, a team from the municipal corporation was also present at the spot.

People who were rescued are presently undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The building is situated at the Station Road near Lal Gate in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh.
