Kejriwal launches mobile app, online appointment system for Delhi maternity hospital

Chief Miniter Arvind Kejriwal on Monday launched a mobile application for a Delhi maternity hospital.

A web-based online OPD registration and appointment system have been introduced.

CM Kejriwal launched the app virtually for Dada Dev maternity hospital.

Around 10,000 deliveries happen at this hospital in a year.

Its capacity will be increased from 106 beds to 281 beds.

The work is underway and will be completed by January 2021.

Other hospitals should also adopt this system," Kejriwal said.

The app will prevent people from standing in long queues for hours.

Doctors' appointments can be taken from home through the app.

The app will also prevent crowding in the wake of Covid pandemic.
