2 bodies recovered from Singara river in Assam's Lakhimpur

Two bodies were recovered from the Singara River in Assam's Lakhimpur on August 17 after its water level rose to danger mark.

Several people are missing as search operation is underway.

Over 10 villages are inundated in the Lakhimpur district.

11,962 persons have been affected in Dhemaji, Lakhimpur and Baksa districts due to flood in the state.
