Heavy rainfall disrupts normal life in Uttarakhand's Bageshwar

Landslides following heavy rainfall has blocked several motorways in Uttarakhand's Bageshwar district.

Daily lives of people have been affected due to the aftermath of heavy rainfall.

Houses were also flooded as water entered residential areas.

Disaster Management Officer of Bageshwar district said, "Teams have been alerted.

So far 2 motorways have been cleared.

Machines being used to clear remaining roads and officials are assessing the damage caused."
