The entire Lebanese government resign a week after blast

The entire Lebanese government has resigned almost a week after the devastating blast in Beirut that killed at least 200 people.

In a television address, the outgoing Prime Minister said that 'endemic corruption' had been to blame and said that now was the time for change.

Outside, police have once again clashed with protesters who have been throwing rocks at Lebanon's parliament building.

The authorities have responded with the use of tear gas.
