Floods wash away acres of cultivation in Kerala's Alappuzha, water enters residential areas

Kuttanad area of Kerala's Alappuzha is badly flooded due to heavy rain in the region.

Several residential areas have been also submerged under flood water.

Hundreds of acres of cultivation have been washed away.

The district administration has set up over 30 relief camps where affected people are being shifted in lorries and tractors.
