Death toll rises to 21 in Idukki landslides

The death toll in the Idukki landslides in Kerala has gone up to 21 after three more bodies were recovered on August 08 from Rajamalai where the landslide had occurred.

The landslides had occurred after heavy rain hit the district.

PM Modi had expressed grief on the incident.

Ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from PMNRF will be given to the next of kin.
