According to White, fans are “attacking and questioning” him for his possible decision.

Tre’Davious White, via Twitter White shot back at the “selfish” fans, calling them out for thinking that “football is bigger than life.” He also revealed that his girlfriend’s grandfather had died due to COVID-19.

Tre’Davious White, via Twitter NFL players have until 4 p.m ET on August 6 to decide whether they’re opting out of the season.

After that, NFL Network reports that players can only opt out if they are diagnosed as being high risk for COVID-19 or if a family member is hospitalized or dies because of COVID-19.
