Nevada State Senate passes COVID-19 small business protection bill

Some clarity now when it comes to COVID-19 and liability for local businesses.

Nevada Senate bill 4 has passed the State Senate.

The bill lays out liability provisions for COVID-19.

It would prevent people who get sick with the virus from suing businesses and non-profits.

The bill excludes for-profit hospitals and health care facilities from those protections.

It now heads to the state assembly for approval.
