College football schedule for the 20-20 season..

Dakota simon is live right now outside ross-ade stadium with a look at what purdue's schedule looks like..

And what will make this season so different.

Dakota?

College football is back for now..

With the release of the big ten conference football schedule this morning..

We know that purdue will play michigan in ann arbor right around a month from today..

Everyone across the conference obviously moving forward with the health and safety of the players and coaching staffs in mind..

The big ten is deciding to go forward and start the season on time for a variety of reasons..

Commissioner kevin warren spoke this morning on that topic..

And the word that comes to the surface?

Flexibility..

Kevin warren -- this builds an opportunity for us to remain as flexible as we possibly can.

So as you are aware, if something would happen, where we didn't start of september 5th, we have the flexibility to start september 12th, or the 19th, and because we have those open dates throughout the schedule and on the back end, we would be able to collapse some of those early dates, to a later date.

And that takes us to the official schedule..

Again purdue heads to the big house week one a month from today..

They then host iowa ohio state and illinois..

Before going to wisconsin..

Then back home again for a game against rutgers..

At minnesota..

Home twice against northwestern and then nebraska..

And the bucket game is still happening..

Purdue and indiana clash in bloomington on november 21st..

A lot more to come today on our air and online at wlfi dot com..

Marlee back to you..

Thank you dakota.
