PM Modi plants 'Parijaat' sapling ahead of 'bhoomi pujan' in Ayodhya
Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers to Ram Lalla, and performed 'sashtang pranam' (prostration) at Ram Janmbhoomi site on August 05.
He also planted a 'Parijaat' sapling, considered a divine plant, ahead of foundation stone-laying of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
'Parijaat' sapling was planted using traditional drip irrigation method ahead of 'bhoomi pujan'.
