How Baby Boomers Cognitively Measure Up To Previous Generations

The oldest baby boomers in the US are now in their 70s, while the youngest are approaching their 60s.

And according to Gizmodo, a new study reveals boomers are experiencing a drop in cognitive function as they age, relative to previous generations.

What's more, Gizmodo reports future aging generations may be at a similar heightened risk.

Study author Professor Hui Zheng says the decline was seen in all groups: men and women, and across all races, ethnicities, education, income, and wealth levels.

Contributing factors may include sedentary lifestyles, chemical additives to food, and a lack of universal healthcare in the US.
