Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga Lead Nominations for 2020 Video Music Awards The nominations for MTV’s 2020 Video Music Awards are in.

The two artists received the most VMA nominations with nine each.

Billie Eilish and The Weeknd followed closely behind in nominations with six each.

Grande and Gaga received a video of the year co-nomination for their song, “Rain on Me.” They also received nominations in two new categories: best music video from home and best quarantine performance.

Grande is nominated for best music video from home alongside Justin Bieber for their song, “Stuck with U.” Gaga is nominated in best quarantine performance for her song, “Smile,” from the ‘One World: Together At Home’ broadcast.

The 2020 Video Music Awards will air live from the Barclay Center in New York on August 30.
