## state lawmakers are revealing more information about the state employment office..

After pleas for help from people in need of benefits.

The employment development department says a least a million claims are still being processed... after a tidal wave of claims hit the department when the coronavirus shut down the state's economy.

Almost 9 million people filed claims. state lawmakers are advancing several bills spurred by the coronavirus.
