Prince Yakub Habeebuddin Tucy, a self-proclaimed descendant of the Mughals offered a gold brick of one kilogram to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He offered the gold brick to use it in the construction of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

"This is a happy moment for all of us that the Ram Temple is going to be built in Ayodhya.

As promised, I offered a gold brick of one kilogram to be used in the construction of the temple as a gift by the Mughals," said Yakub Habeebuddin Tucy.

He is now waiting for PM Modi's call.

PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of Ayodhya's Ram temple on August 5.

Elaborate preparations are being planned for three-day Vedic rituals.

Rituals will begin on August 3 and end with a 'bhumi pujan' on August 5.

Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust is overseeing temple construction.

Temple Trust has said there won't be over 200 people at the ceremony.

Following 'bhumi pujan', the construction of the temple will begin.

The construction is set to begin nine months after the Supreme Court ruled in favour of Mandir side in dispute.
