Today, the Mississippi State Department of Health reported 982 new COVID-19 cases and 13 new deaths with one new death in Jackson County.

Under the- current mandate.- - today the mississippi state - department of health reported - 982 new coronavirus cases and 1- new deaths.

With one- new death in jackson county.- the statewide total now stands- at 48 -thousand- 53 - confirmed cases and 1 thousand- 436 deaths.

- hancock county is now at 219- cases and still 14 deaths.- harrison county is now at 1,628- total cases and with 21 deaths.- jackson county is now at 1,384- cases, and now at 24 deaths.- stone county is now at 113 case- - - - and still 2 deaths.

George- county , has 202 total cases an- still 3 deaths- and on the other side of the- coast, pearl river county - stands at 392 total cases and - still 32 deaths.- -
