Slain gangster Vikas Dubey's mother appealed to her younger son Deep Prakash to stop running from the police and surrender.
Police have announced a 20,000 reward for information on Deep Prakash.
He has been absconding since the Kanpur ambush where eight policemen were killed.
Sarla Devi's message to her younger son comes after Vikas Dubey was shot dead during an encounter while he was trying to flee from police custody earlier in the month.
