'Provide time for players to get ready for big stage': ICC CE on Men's World Cup 2023 postponed

ICC Men's World Cup 2023 has been postponed and is rescheduled to be held in India Oct-Nov 2023 with the final on 26 November.

Speaking on it, ICC Chief Executive, Manu Sawhney said, "It is extremely important and is right for the sport.

It enables our various members to be able to play their domestic and bilateral series which were disrupted due to COVID-19.

It also provides time for players to train and get ready for the big stage.

Most importantly, it basically helps us retain the integrity of the qualification process."
