Watch: Tigress which strayed out of flood-hit Kaziranga National Park rescued by forest officials

Forest officials on July 15 successfully tranqulised and rescued a tigress that had strayed out of the flood-affected Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve (KNPTR).

Due to rising flood water, the tigress had strayed out of the park.

The forest officials tranqulised the tigress at a thatched hut in Baghmari village.

The forest officials took the tigress to the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) located at Borjuri near the national park where the big cat is recuperating.
