State pays $225K to remove statue
A bill for the cost of moving a confederate statue out of the capitol.

The lexington herald-leader reports the state finance and administration cabinet, recorded the no-bid contract on the same day the historic properties advisory commission...voted eleven-to-one to remove the statue.
The statue was out of the capitol the next day.
