Will make Rajasthan a pioneer in field of medical science: CM Gehlot

Celebrating the National Doctor's day in the state, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 108 medical institute buildings through video conferencing.

Chief Minister inaugurated 94 projects worth Rs 171 crore and laid the foundation stone for 14 projects with a cost of Rs.

20 crore.

On this occasion the Chief Minister said, "To make Rajasthan a pioneer in the field of medical science, we are constantly strengthening the health facilities infrastructure in the government sector.

As a result, Rajasthan is successfully fighting the coronavirus.

Whether it is recovery from COVID infection, controlling fatality or screening facilities, Rajasthan stands at the front in the country on all parameters." CM Gehlot underlined that we have converted the challenge of coronavirus into an opportunity.

We are trying to make Model CHC at various places in the state so that people do not have to go to the district hospitals for treatment.

They should get better medical facilities at their nearest community health center.

During the programme the Chief Minister also said that the pandemic has changed our lifestyle as well as the attitude towards life.

Now our priority is how to get economic activities back on track, because along with life, livelihood is also very important.
