White woman launches into shocking racist rant against black man on London bus

A white woman was caught on camera subjecting a black man to a torrent of abuse in a racist rant in south London on Thursday (June 25).

Nicholas Garande, aged 29, captured the shocking and deeply offensive scene, in which a stranger called him the N-word as well as "black c**t" and black "b*****d, at a Bromley bus stop on Masons Hill, near Halfords in south London at around 7.30 pm.

The woman, who then gets on the same bus as Garande, continues on a racist tirade until he exits the bus in central Bromley.

"I'm white and I'm proud," she says while on the bus.

He told Newsflare: "She was arguing with a man in a wheelchair when I got to the bus stop.

The man went off and apologised that I had to witness that.

She came over to me to explain why they were arguing, and I told her to leave me alone, then the abuse started.

"I think I got on bus 208, but Iโ€™m not too sure.

I just got on any bus to escape, but she followed me." Garande continued: "What happened to me is just an example of normalised racism faced by black people on a frequent basis.

Thereโ€™s no place for it in the 21st century, and racists like this woman must be exposed and brought to light so she can face the consequences.

Hopefully, this can change the mindset of the minority of backward people who think this behaviour is acceptable.

"The UK is institutionally racist, and people who keep denying this fact are part of the problem.

Education is key, and we need to live in a more peaceful society and start being more considerate and mindful.

"This lady does not represent all British people, but a minority number of people do hold the same views, and they intend to make life harder for people of colour who already have enough obstacles in their path.

This is why I agree with a lot that Black Lives Matter is achieving and educating people about.

I myself do not speak on behalf of all black people, but this is a shared experience among many in my community.

We need a shift in the narrative from being defensive and protecting racism, to learning from this experience and becoming a better society." Garande has reported the incident to the Metropolitan Police.
