Pipeline breaks and forms spectacular water fountain on highway in India

A newly laid pipeline broke and sent huge jets of water 40ft into the air along the Davanagere- Harihara road in Karnataka, India on June 25.

Nearby traffic was affected until workers from the irrigation department managed to turn off the water.

The pipeline was carrying water from Tungabhadra river to fill 22 tanks in nearby villages.
