RS Polls 2020: Jharkhand BJP MLA claims to have 32 votes for candidate Deepak Prakash

The Baharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA, form Jharkhand, Biranchi Narayan, stated that the party has 32 votes and will send Deepak Prakash to Rajya Sabha.

'Independent MLAs Saryu Rai and Amit Yadav have extended their support to BJP and we hope to get the support of two other MLAs.

With 32 votes, we hope to send Deepak Prakash to Rajya Sabha," the BJP MLA said.

Meanwhile, voting is underway for two Rajya Sabha seats at the state Assembly in Ranchi.
