Jay Pharoah Says LA Police Detained Him, Placed Knee on His Neck According to the former 'Saturday Night Live' star, the incident occurred back in February.

In an Instagram post, the comedian revealed video footage of what transpired.

The video shows Pharoah on the street and being stopped by four cops with their guns drawn.

Pharoah adds that authorities believed he fit the description of a suspect they were seeking.

After taking another call, he explains that the cops let him go and apologized.

Jay Pharoah, via Instagram video Los Angeles Police department spokesperson Drake Madison says that an investigation is underway on Pharoah's mishap.

Drake Madison, via Insider Madison adds that Pharoah is being allowed to "file a misconduct complaint."
