Migrant workers allege lack of adequate facilities at Darjeeling quarantine centre

Migrant workers alleged lack of adequate facilities at a quarantine centre in Phansidewa area of Darjeeling.

According to the migrants, toilets are not good and there is lack of suitable drinking water.

"The condition of the toilet is not good and the water available here is not suitable to drink and bath.

We experience itching after taking a bath," a migrant worker said.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in West Bengal stands at 10698.
