Black Therapists Are Using Instagram To Connect With, Support Persons Of Color

Social media platform Instagram has become an accessible place for the Black community to share mental health resources.

Psychologist Mariel Buquè says persons of color have historically not self-connected to therapy and, more often than not, drop out after the first session.

Another study has found it's also harder for black people to even get an appointment with a psychotherapist.
