Cyclone Nisarga: Scenes of destruction as NDRF undertakes restoration work

National Disaster Response Force carried out restoration work in Maharashtra, a day after cyclone Nisarga made landfall.

NDRF personnel were seen clearing roads and cutting fallen trees in areas like Alibaug and Ratnagiri.

Meanwhile, Mumbai received heavy rainfall a day after the cyclone.

India's financial capital escaped largely unscathed when the cyclone made landfall.

However, the rain did lead to waterlogging in areas like Sion.
