Search operation underway in Rajouri's Kalakote area

Security Forces neutralized one terrorist in an encounter in Rajouri's Kalakote area on June 04.

The Army and police had launched a cordon and search operation in Kalakote belt of the district on June 04 following the specific information about the presence of infiltrating terrorists.

Rajouri-Poonch range, DIG, Vivek Gupta said, "In the afternoon, we received information and security forces had started a search operation.

In the cross firing, one terrorist was killed.

Arms and ammunitions have been recovered from the deceased.

Operation is underway."
