C1 3 according to governor andy beshear...covid 19 was a contributing factor... in the death of a 9-month- old... from hopkins county the state health commissioner says the baby died from sudden infant death syndrome, or sids.

And, a later test showed the baby also had the coronavirus.

According to the governor... this is the first infant covid-19-related death in the state.

"it's a 9-month old, we grieve for everybody that we have lost, to covid 19 and far too often people think it only happns to med compromised seniors, um this is a reminder, of how deadly this virus can be, how precious all of our lives are."
