Vikram Chandra on cyclone headed for Maharashtra, new data on Covid deaths

Even as India's battle against Covid-19 is far from over, it has challenges coming up in every corner of the country.

While it was Cyclone Amphan that hit Bengal less than 2 weeks back, it is now Maharashtra, India's Covid hotspot that braces for Cyclone Nisarga.

Meanwhile, government released new data on Covid-19 deaths that states that those above the age of 60 and those with co-morbidities make up for 50% of Covid-19 cases in India.

The government also announced that India's fatality rate is at a comfortable 2.82% and its recovery rate notched up to 48.07%
