Over 54 lakh labourers ferried by 4050 'shramik' special trains: Railway Board Chairman

Chairman of Railway Board, Vinod Kumar Yadav on May 31 informed that since May 01 more than 54 lakh labourers have been ferried by 'shramik special trains'.

Around 80 percent of these trains have been run to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, he informed.

He said, "We have started running 'shramik special trains' from May 01 and since then we have run 4050 trains.

More than 54 lakh labourers have been ferried in those trains.

Around 80 percent of these trains have been run to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar."
