'Heat intensity likely to decrease, central India may receive rainfall': IMD

Parts of North India continue to reel under severe heatwave.

Maximum temperatures are likely to recede from Thursday.

IMD said heat intensity is likely to decrease from today due to western disturbances.

The maximum temperatures over North-West, Central and West India will fall by 3-4°C over the next 2-3 days, the weather department added.

Isolated to scattered rainfall likely in North-West and Central India.
