Partly cloudy sky in Varanasi likely to bring respite from heat

Parts of India are facing soaring temperatures with mercury constantly breaching the 45-degree mark.

Varanasi recorded maximum temperature of 46 degrees Celsius on May 26.

Extreme weather conditions have thrown life out of gear.

IMD predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunderstorm from today till 30 May.
