PM Modi's Rs 1000 cr is not assistance package, it's a beginning: WB Governor

West Bengal Governor, Jagdeep Dhankhar on Prime Minister Modi's Rs.

1000 cr assistance package said that it is not a package, it's a beginning.

He said, "The dark tunnel that had nothing except confrontation, where there was no light, for the first time I saw that there's a ray of hope." WB Governor said that for the first time the robe of confrontation has been taken off and robe of cooperation has been worn.

He further said, "It'll be very beneficial to people of the state if CM and PM are on the same page.

As Governor, I hope that this goes on for a long time and should not end."
