Road forward for Odisha is cyclone resilient infrastructure: Chief Secretary

Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting with Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik over situation after cyclone Amphan, said that the Prime Minister appreciated the measures undertaken by Odisha.

He said, "PM Modi said Odisha has made a good name for itself in rescue, relief and restoration measures." Asit Kumar Tripathy said that in the last 18 months, the state has witnessed 5 cyclones.

"The road forward for Odisha is to strengthen our infrastructure and make it cyclone resilient," he added.
