AMPHAN: Odisha requests Centre to cancel Shramik Special trains in coastal areas

While speaking to ANI in Bhubaneswar, the Special Relief Commissioner of Odisha, Pradeep Kumar Jena spoke on cyclonic storm 'AMPHAN'.

He said, "Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Ganjam may be affected due to the cyclonic storm.

The Chief Secretary has requested Union Cabinet Secretary to consider suspending 'Shramik Special' trains from May 18 for three days in the coastal areas.c Odisha government has urged Central Government to suspend Shramik Special trains passing through its coastal area due to cyclone.
